Introduction

The Lions Club of Southend-on-Sea was chartered in 1970. It'smembers all wishing to help the less fortunate people within the Southend-on-Sea area. Their aims were simple:-

Community Service,

Fund-raising to help the less fortunate within the community and further afield,

and have fun and fellowship whilst doing it.

The Southend-on-Sea Lions Club has continued to go from strength to strength. And after over 38 years the same aims are still holding true.

The club is in Region 5, Zone B of District MD105EA, and is always looking for new members and will offer a warm welcome to all visitors.
