Halesworth Peace Poster Competition

Every year, Lions International run a Peace Poster Competion giving young people in the local community the opportunity to think about the importance of world peace, tolerance and international understanding, and to pass this on.

The competition begins at the local level, for example here in Halesworth.  The Local Prize Winner is then judged against others in the Lion East Anglia Region, and so on through to a National Winner and finally an International Winner.

The competition theme for 2008-2009 was ‘Peace begins with me’.
